Origin LD Fins
The Cressi Origin HD and LD Fins carry forward the historic legacy of the Rondine Commando fins, originally introduced in 1950 for the U.S. Military Underwater Demolition Team and widely used throughout the 1960s. Designed for divers who use their fins intensively, the Origin range combines a compact vented design, durable single-material construction and excellent manoeuvrability for demanding scuba diving environments.
Key Features:
Historic Rondine Commando Heritage: Continues the legacy of the original Cressi Rondine Commando fins with a modern technical update.
Single Material Construction: Highly abrasion-resistant construction provides exceptional strength and durability for intensive diving use.
Compact Vented Blade: The short and wide ventilated blade delivers powerful forward thrust while supporting precise control underwater.
Excellent Manoeuvrability: Designed to perform effectively with flutter kicks, frog kicks, helicopter turns and general manoeuvring.
Origin HD Buoyancy: High-density material provides slightly negative buoyancy for use with drysuits and medium to heavy equipment.
Origin LD Buoyancy: Low-density material provides slightly positive buoyancy for use with wetsuits and medium to lightweight equipment.
Ergonomic Foot Pocket: Designed for secure and practical use in demanding diving environments.
Self-Adjusting Spring Straps: Spring-loaded stainless steel straps with wide grips provide easy operation with cold hands or thick gloves.
Angled Buckle System: Keeps the spring straps positioned correctly over the heel for a secure fit.
Replaceable Strap Design: A simple pin system allows the spring straps to be replaced when necessary.
Dual Attachment Points: Two attachment points allow the fins to be clipped off when accessing the dive site or stored vertically.
The Cressi Origin HD and LD Fins are built for divers seeking durable construction, powerful thrust and precise manoeuvrability, with two material densities available to suit different exposure protection and equipment configurations.
